Nicolas cocon,ceramist
For more than a decade, i have translated ideas into stories that are seen and felt. i work at the crossroads between design, word and people, looking for each project to leave an honest footprint.
What moves me
I started drawing on the margins of the notebooks and i never stopped. over the years i learned that design is not decorating: it is ordering the world to make it better understood. that conviction guides every decision i make.
-
Clarity before noise:less elements, more intention.
-
Listen first:each project starts with questions, not answers.
-
Craft detail:what seems small is what you remember.
-
Visual honesty:design with truth and without empty promises.
Trayectoria
First steps under study
I went as a junior to a small design studio where i learned the root trade: from sketch to final delivery.
Freelance art address
I gave the jump to work on my own, leading visual identities for brands that just started telling their story.
First recognition
An editorial project of its own received an international mention, and with that came the confidence to point higher.
Own study
I opened my own studio, a space to build long projects along with a team that shares the same way of looking.
